Operation Education

Operation Education is a new program from the Iowa Giving Crew. The goal of the program is to help meet unfulfilled needs at schools with the largest needs in the community. 

What is it?

Operation Education is a grant program that aims to help supplement the fundraising ability of parent and teacher organizations. The program is targeted at individual schools with a higher than 60% free and reduced lunch population. The end goal is to bring equity to students that are disadvantaged and help promote the best learning experience possible. 

Eligibility

Schools must have a minimum 60% population of free and reduced lunch. All requests will be considered, priority will be given to initiatives based on the scale of the impact that the grant will provide. 

Application Process

Each entry will be reviewed by a selection committee and granted full or partial funding if selected. Funding will be determined by priority given by the committee during evaluation and total funds available for the program.  

Applications are due December 15, 2023
