Volunteer with the Iowa Giving Crew

Volunteering with the Iowa Giving Crew provides the opportunity to make an impact in the community.  Registering to volunteer allows us to contact you when there is a need to make an impact. Some examples of previous volunteer activities have included creating Thanksgiving boxes for Operation Give Birds, building beds for underprivileged children, and cooking meals for the community during derecho relief efforts. 

When registering, you can select from the following interest areas in which you are interested in helping out:

• Community Outreach - Hands on community building and participating in recovery efforts 
• Fundraising - Help support the mission of the IGC by volunteering to work at IGC fundraisers or fundraising campaigns
• Grant Writing - An important piece of creating a sustainable impact for the community. 
• Marketing and Public Relations - Help spread the word about the IGC and help to identify opportunities for the IGC to  make impacts in the community. 
• Operation Give Birds - Our flagship event that is fully executed by volunteers.
